The Blackjack Quartet is officially three-quarters done. Blackjack & Moonlight officially launched on Sunday, June 1. We’re all so happy with the way Blackjack has been received—he’s clearly a favorite of mine, given that I’ve hung the entire series on his capable shoulders.
I’m already working on Lost and Found, the final book in the quartet. Someone pushed me to come up with a three-sentence synopsis:
Lissa Pembroke moves in with Phil Gaffney when her family drives her crazy. Phil can tell she has no clue that he’s attracted to her, so he tries hard to be the perfect roommate. One night, a bottle of tequila, and a power outage change all that.
Look for Lost and Found later in 2014!
Nearly three years after I started The Cost of Happiness, then switched to Love in Reality, wrote Blackjack & Moonlight as a NaNoWriMo novel, and worked out the plot to Lost and Found… we’re finally about to begin The Blackjack Quartet!
Love in Reality is with my editor, we’ll have a cover to show you soon, and Harmony Road Press is working on the print version. Me? I’m desperately working on other stuff so that when this year’s NaNoWriMo starts next week, I can start The Cost of Happiness from scratch. (Same plot, way better writing.)
Keep watching this space, because in addition to updates on Twitter and Facebook and my own website, this is going to be a great resource for readers who enjoy fun and sexy romances about a fictional legal community in Philadelphia.
